Candle Stand with Drawer

Inspired by historical examples of the Shaker Candle Stand, this unique side table is designed to highlight the natural beauty of the form and materials. Made of the finest Pennsylvania cherry hardwood available, the shallow case serves as both the table top and the drawer enclosure. The case is supported by an expertly turned column and four graceful “spider” legs which complete this beautiful form. The all-natural, hand-rubbed finish consists of a mixture of penetrating linseed oil and natural resins to provide long-lasting and easily refreshed protection. Lightweight, stable and elegant, this table makes a statement in any room.

In order to provide our customers with free shipping and keep the item price as low as possible, this piece is shipped in a semi-flatpack box with simple instructions for a 5 minute final assembly. A hammer or mallet is required but is not included. Note: in order to prevent overdriving of the provided bolts, power tools of any type should NOT be used.

Some notes about our products:

• Items are crafted one at a time in my home workshop and may have slight variations in dimensions and designs. Photos depict a representative sample, but each item is truly one of a kind.

• Wood is a natural material and will display natural variations and imperfections. Grain and wood colorations are unique in every piece. I do my best to use this amazing resource with sustainability and conservation in mind.

• Cherry darkens naturally with age.
