Staked Counter Stool

An original design, this counter-height solid cherry stool brings together traditional elements with an expressive flair making it right at home in a kitchen, at a bar, or anywhere extra seating is needed. The spacious round seat features a graceful underbevel and wedged leg tenons ("staked") to provide both interest and strength. The legs and stretchers feature variations of hexagonal cross-sections inspired by forms seen in vernacular chairs and stools from around the world.

The piece is finished with a premium mixture of penetrating linseed oil and natural pine resin to provide long-lasting and easily refreshed protection, and soft felt pads are applied to each leg. Quality materials and superb craftsmanship make this a beautiful addition to any décor that will last for generations to come.
