Crafting History, One Joint at a Time

My journey into woodworking began in 1998 with a few borrowed tools, a stack of lumber, and a vision for a coffee table. What started as a single project ignited a lifelong obsession with the art of furniture making. Since then, I have spent decades refining my skills, moving from basic assembly to mastering the intricate soul of solid wood.

Tradition Meets Innovation

At CraftedTimber LLC, we believe that the best furniture is born from a respect for the past and an embrace of the future. Our pieces are defined by:

  • Timeless Techniques: We often utilize traditional joinery—like hand-cut dovetails and mortise-and-tenon joints—to ensure structural integrity and beauty that mass-produced furniture simply can’t match.

  • Modern Precision: By integrating advanced technology, we achieve a level of accuracy, repeatability, and design complexity that far exceeds traditional handwork. This efficiency allows us to reduce waste and offer more aggressive pricing, making heirloom-quality furniture accessible to more homes.

  • Solid Wood Philosophy: We work almost exclusively with solid wood, selected for its character and durability. We don't build for the next few years; we build for the next several generations.

Building with Heart

Woodworking is about more than just the final product; it’s about the legacy we leave behind. We are deeply committed to giving back to the community that sustains us.

We are proud to donate 10% of our proceeds to The Children’s Heart Foundation. Our family is forever grateful for the life-saving research the CHF supports, and every piece you commission helps fund that vital mission.
