Inspired by a historical example in the Hancock Shaker Village near Pittsfield, Massachusetts, this side table, or candle stand, is a versatile form with timeless appeal. Made of the finest Pennsylvania cherry hardwood available, the 18” round top is supported by a hand-turned column and three graceful “spider” legs which complete this beautiful form. The all-natural, hand-rubbed finish consists of a mixture of penetrating linseed oil and natural resins to provide long-lasting and easily refreshed protection. Lightweight, stable and elegant, this table makes a statement in any room.
In order to provide our customers with free shipping and keep the item price as low as possible, this piece is shipped in a semi-flatpack box with simple instructions for a 5 minute final assembly. A hammer is required but is not included. Note: in order to prevent overdriving of the provided bolts, power tools of any type should NOT be used.
